Our method of work aims at the development and
selection of the Estrela Mountain Dog starting with dogs from the
best bloodlines.
Our work, based on total passion, is set upon a serious, ethical and
absolutely professional approach to breeding.
The Estrela Mountain ridge, in central Portugal and not many miles away from Spain, is part of the Central Massif of the Iberian Peninsula, reaching about 2,000 m, at the highest point in the country: Tower.
This ridge is the majestic birthplace of the Estrela Mountain Dog breed. Abundant in water, the herding has been its main source of development and importance with huge flocks travelling and grazing all over the mountains.
